To be eligible to participate, the following requirements apply:

  • A utility-approved application is necessary to begin work
  • Provide proof that property has an Eversource or UI commercial account
  • Site Owners must sign the application and attest to property ownership, possession of a site lease for a minimum of 10 years, or have the landlord’s written consent.
  • Site hosts must agree to operate, maintain, and ensure transmission of data for at least 5 years.
  • Agreement to use approved EV Charging stations.
  • Multifamily locations must have a minimum of 5 units.
  • There must be a minimum of 2 ports per site, and chargers must be located within dedicated parking areas for the number of chargers.
  • Charger data must be available to Eversource or UI to comply with incentives.
  • Licensed professionals must complete the work.
